A Civil War battlefield squirrel

Yes, my tour of Middle Tennessee Civil War battlefields (and the squirrels that now live there) continues with a visit earlier today to the site of the Battle of Fort Donelson, fought February 11-16, 1862.  More (non-squirrel) pictures will be posted later this weekend on Gogol’s Overcoat.  Should note that this was a brave squirrel, as a nesting eagle was in a tree less than 30 feet from it (no pictures of the eagle due to tree foliage).
